These are great pictures! I was lucky enough to know Lu near the end of his life. Unfortunately, I never ended up with a particularly good picture of him. The group I knew him through established an environmental education grant in his name after his death. I ran a Google search for images using his name and was delighted to see so many pictures of wonderful projects funded by the Lu Winsor Environmental Grant program. I love that they are now part of his legacy.
